Our Story & Mission
Transitioning into adulthood isn’t easy and doesn’t always happen the way we envisioned. Young adults face real issues that can hold them back in life. Issues such as: no direction, no goals, low motivation, poor time management, lack of confidence, excessive social media usage and more.
The pressure of growing expectations and responsibilities in life and work can be debilitating. If not properly managed these pressures can lead to increased anxiety, stress, depression, poor health and well-being; and more.
At MITTY we take a whole person approach to coaching young adults to their fullest potential by leveraging evidence-based practices, focusing on goals and shifting mindset to one that produces growth, excitement, and motivation. When a young adult shifts their mindset they can accomplish anything; and then their mood changes, their attitude changes and emotions change.
Regardless if one is stuck at the end of high school, during college, or some time in the years after, many young adults struggle to take the next step towards sustainable independence.
Our mission at MITTY is to unlock the potential in young adults by giving them a safe space to feel supported, confident and empowered to become their best-self. We begin with the end in mind and support each young adult as they clarify what they really want out of life. We give them the tools, resources and guidance to build independence and move towards their vision.
MITTY represents the vision of who you want to be – and making that vision a reality – with the confidence and determination to go after it.

Success Stories
I was stuck finding the right role after graduating from college. Lisa played a crucial role in transforming my resume and highlighting relevant internship experience that was tailored to the roles I was interested in. Her guidance helped me excel in interviews and effectively communicate the value I bring to an organization, resulting in increased job opportunities and landing a position that I truly enjoy.
Lisa not only helped me direct my focus and energy into something productive, she helped me organize and plan how I accomplish it.
With Lisa’s guidance, I re-discovered my professional strengths and the ideal job that would be challenging yet flexible as a single parent. Through Lisa’s support, I developed a plan that included my aspirational and short-term goals. Lisa’s approach made achieving my weekly goals attainable and less overwhelming. Lisa asked probing questions that really made me think about what was best for me and how to best move forward in my short-term goals. I learned to hold myself accountable, achieved my physical and career goals, prioritized relationships, increased my resilience, and boosted my self-esteem.
